Although I’ve never met Wayne Bakewell in person, I have had many phone conversations with him over a few years during my tenure with HireKING, a general hire and portable toilet hire supplier to the construction and event sectors, with branches in Christchurch and Cromwell.
My initial contact with Wayne was in 2019 to fabricate two 3,000L vacuum tanks to improve HireKING’s ability to increase their growth in the toilet hire business. During this time, I established a good rapport with Wayne as we discussed the finer details required on these tanks. A year later we went through the same process to obtain two smaller vacuum tanks with a 1700L capacity.
Wayne provided good progress reports during the builds. HireKING shipped the tanks down from Tauranga on car transporters with more than adequate protective wrapping provided by Alloy Industries.
I have no hesitation in recommending Wayne and his company, Alloy Industries, to anyone considering purchasing custom tanks of all types.
